| Safety Rules |
DISCLAIMER
The rules and or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events, to establish minimum
acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events.
No express or implied warranty of safety shall result from publication of or compliance with these rules or regulations. They are
intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or
official.
Safety Rules
1. ALL CARS: "STEEL ROLL BARS" - FULL CAGE minimum 1-1/2" Steel, not less that Two (2) Bars on right side. ALL BARS
WITHIN DRIVERS REACH MUST BE FOAM PADDED.
2. All Roll Bars are subject to inspection by Track Officials.
3. SAFETY BELTS: LAP AND SHOULDER HARNESS MANDATORY A QUICK RELEASE BELT, NO LESS THAN THREE (3)
INCHES WIDE, IS COMPULSORY. Both ends Must Be Fastened to Roll Bars with quality bolts, not less than 3/8" in diameter.
4. WINDOW NET: MANDATORY - must release from top and mount to roll cage on bottom.
5. FIRE EXTINGUISHER: MANDATORY-Two (2) pound minimum. Must be fully charged. Must be in it's own "Quick Release
Bracket" NOT held in place with duct tape.
6. FUEL PUMPS: No Electric Fuel Pumps allowed.
7. HELMETS: Only Approved Helmets will be allowed. Full face helmets are highly recommended.
8. DRIVERS SUITS: Fire Resistant Drivers Suits are required!
9. FUEL CELLS: MANDATORY-Must be protected from the rear by Steel pipe not less than 1-1/2 inches outside diameter.
10. At least Two (2) Return Springs required on throttle.
