| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Eddie Davis – Public Relations Written by: Eddie Davis – SCS Public Relations Mother Nature Takes The Double Checkered Flags At SCS Wilsonville, AL –April 26, 2008 – Early evening at Shelby County Speedway, Drivers and Fans filled the facilities. It appeared that the racing program would not be in any danger of a wash out. Mother Nature had different plans. Track Officials were in close contact with the National Weather Service and was expected that a short shower would last 30 minuets, however this was not the case. With severe lighting and rain, Track Officials had no other recourse to cancel the racing program for the safety of the Drivers and Fans. SCS promises to offer the Fans and Drivers a spectacular evening or racing and hilarious intermission entertainment for May 3, 2008. Fans and Drivers can expect a packed house with the first time ever at SCS, Chain Racing, plus all the regular divisions. Extra added laughs and giggles can be expected during intermission with the must witness, first time ever Ice T-Shirt and Ice Boxer Shorts Contest which will include Drivers and Fans.
